MDaemon 25.0.0 - March 4, 2025

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

• [16456] Hosted email options with MDaemon Private Cloud are now available. To learn more, please visit: https://mdaemon.com/pages/mdaemon-email-msp.
• [28066] Webmail's Lite theme has been removed from new installs and will no longer be updated.
• [28441] ClamAV 1.4 is not compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7, so ClamAV is not installed on those Windows versions. If you have an older ClamAV installed by a previous version of MDaemon, you may continue to use it with MDaemon 25.
• [28384] frame-ancestors: 'self' has been added to the Content-Security-Policy header for the default Remote Admin and Webmail server. If you are having users access Webmail or Remote Admin via a frame on an intranet site, this may cause issues. You can modify the header in the corresponding INI files, or in Remote Admin at: Main | Webmail Settings | Web Server and Main | Remote Admin Settings | Settings, under HTTP Response Headers.
• [28070] MDaemon Private Cloud is no longer a separate download. Your license (registration key) controls whether MDaemon acts as the Private Cloud version.

MDAEMON SERVER

• [28181] Let's Encrypt - PFX files older than 30 days will be removed from disk.
• [27664] Updated Acme-PS PowerShell module used by the Let's Encrypt PowerShell script to version 1.5.9
• [27541] The SMTP server now looks up the sender's DMARC policy when needed for the DMARC-related mailing list options even if the connection is exempt from DMARC processing.

REMOTE ADMINISTRATION

• [26737] Added the ability to sort accounts by the Last Access column at Main | Account Manager and Main | Domain Manager | Edit | Accounts

WEBMAIL

• [25162] The Pro theme is now the default Webmail theme for new installs. When updating, the installer will ask if you want to change your default to the Pro theme.
• [25327] Pro theme - Added long press context menus to folders and list items for mobile devices
• [28035] Pro theme - Added a thicker border on the left edge of events in the Calendar view
• [16877] Added session timeouts for LAN IPs. This can be configured in Remote Administration under Main | Webmail Settings | Web Server

• [28416] Added automatic external calendar updating to the Pro theme
• [28399] Added a user option to "Automatically sign in to Webmail IM in the browser" on the Personalize
• [28389] Added a select all checkbox for the contact picker in the Pro theme
• [27969] Added contact pictures in the message list. If a contact is from the user's contact list and it has a picture, then messages from that contact will display the contact picture instead of the first letter of the contact's name. This is not using BIMI.

• [27788] Content Filter - Added a new condition that allows actions to be performed on messages that contain a QR code.
